"ABUSED. DETAINED. OPPRESSED."

Human trafficking is a serious violation of human rights. It becomes a global threat, and very common in the Philippines and in other countries in the Asia. Many of the victims failed to seek help because of fear and trauma. Human trafficking brings physical, social, emotional, psychological impacts to the victim. Most of the victims also experiences depression and others commit suicide.

Lack of sustainable income and poverty are the main cause of human trafficking. Most of the traffickers doesn't have sustainable income and desperately commit such crime, and victims are experiencing poverty that forced them to do things they do not wanted.

Education is the best way to lessen human trafficking. To eradicate human trafficking, everyone must know their rights and how to respect the rights of others. The number of victims of human trafficking will surely decrease if authorities improve the security and continue to inform people about human trafficking.
