First Day of Immersion

                    "Nervous and Excitement"

          We start our first day of immersion by an orientation at Provincial Capitol of Compostela Valley. The HR Officer Mrs. Dinah Basco discussed the rules and regulations of the Provincial Capitol as well as the Department Heads and  the Officials of the Province. I feel very nervous and little bit excited during the endorsement at Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office. The Mine and Mineral Resources Division Head welcomed me in the office and advised me to start the day after the endorsement.

Pre-Immersion Orientation and Sending Off Ceremony       The orientation was good. We learned a lot from the speaker, the Human Resource officer and PESO head of the municipality of Nabunturan. The speaker clearly state the advantage and importance of immersion program. She precisely express the objective, goal and reason why government conducted this program. Because of the pre-immersion Orientation there were doubts and questions on my mind that were answered and cleared. The pre-immersion orientation really helped us before having the immersion proper. It made us realize how important immersion is and it bring us to the field of work that we want. 23rd Simballay Festival      Photo credits: Turismo Nabunturan Pagpasalamat. Paglipay. Pag-inambitay... Simballay! December 11-15, 2017            Simballay Festival is a week long activity and one of the most awaited celebration in Nabunturan, ComVal Province. It is celebrated during the second week or third week of the month of december. Simballay symbolizes unity, togetherness and progress. It also serves as a thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest and a celebration to honor the indigenous people of the said municipality.           Nabunturanons showcase their  best products and crops in their respective booths to impress the tourists. Simballay booth is a competition participated by every baranggay Nabunturan.           All of the booths are creative in terms of the designs and the materials being used. And each baranggay successfully present their crops and their amazing artworks.
